Biblical community is more than casual friendship. It is engaging in intentional relationships for the purpose of Christian growth. We believe the Bible teaches:
All Christians are called to be gospel ministers in their churches. (Eph. 4:11-12)
God uses Christians speaking gospel truth into one another’s lives to grow them into Christ-like maturity. (Eph. 4:15)
Christians are expected to encourage one another to grow in love and good works. (Heb. 10:24)
Christians encouraging one another regularly helps to protect against sin. (Heb. 3:12, 13)
Christians are called to confess sins to one another. (James 5:16)
Growth Groups at RCAA are one way that we practice Biblical community as a church. They are groups of 2-5 people, men with men and women with women, speaking gospel truth into each others’ lives. The emphasis of the groups is learning to apply Biblical truth to our lives. If you would like more information about Growth Groups or are interested in joining one, please email: email@example.com.
Each week we provide application points from the Friday Sermon that can be discussed in the Growth Groups. Find this week’s application points here:
